These are heart centred, energetic high-vibration ways to change your circumstances.
If your financial situation is not where you want it to be, and your relationship towards money is a bit rocky you are most likely unconsciously repelling money.
I say this because I’ve seen it dozens of times in my clients when working on releasing money blocks. Consciously they are saying “SHOW ME THE MONEY!! I WANT AND NEED MONEY!”
But, because of some negative experience towards money in the past, their unconscious mind is yelling “NO! KEEP THAT MONEY AWAY FROM ME!”
Your beautiful, caring unconscious mind just wants to protect you from what it deems as bad, so as long as it thinks this you will repel money.
By ‘repelling money’ I mean you will attract unfavourable money related situations into your life. Unexpected sudden costs, poor spending habits, living week to week, unable to save, can’t get a promotion or get ahead in your business – sound familiar?
Fortunately there are 6 practical steps you can take to stop this and start attracting money.
1. Think about your childhood experiences around money.
Was money a “bad” experience in anyway?
Did it cause arguments?
Did it cause stress in the household?
Even if you had plenty of money did it keep one or both parents away from you because they had to work long hours? (This would make money seem ‘bad’ to a small child who just wants their parents around). Or was money used to bribe or control you or your family?
Usually the first memories that pop into your head are the ones that need work.
If you can pinpoint some childhood memories that involve money, try to remember how you felt. It is highly likely that your unconscious mind has held onto that feeling since then and has tried to keep you safe from money.
Accept that old feeling and move release it by saying out loud or in your head: that it was ok to feel that way when you were small but now you are an adult you can unplug from those old outdated beliefs and emotions.
You do not need them now you are grown up. You no longer need to fear or hate money, and it does not determine what sort of person you are.
2. Change Your Language
You may be unwittingly repelling money by using negative language. The universe and law of attraction works to bring you more of what you focus on.
This isn’t wishful thinking or even woo woo. It’s fact. Whatever you focus on you get more of, whether thats good or bad. The laws of the universe do not discriminate between perceived good or bad, you simply get more of wherever your mind is focussed on.
Now if that happens to be worry over debt then guess what? You’ll get more debt to worry over.
You can test it out for yourself by becoming acutely aware of what you say and what happens to you. If something ‘bad’ happens, try to think back to your train of thought, or conversations with people around that subject over the last 24 hours.
If you are new to doing this you’ll probably be surprised how often you can link the event to a conversation.
Try to avoid getting caught up in complaining office talk, or whinging about work or money in a victim mentality, because this makes you give off a helpless vibration. Instead politely excuse yourself from the conversation, or change your language.
Instead of saying “if only I could afford…” this implies you’ll never be able to afford it keeping you helpless, instead choose to say “I choose to spend my money elsewhere today” which puts you back in control.
This takes practice, so don’t beat yourself up if your thoughts wander back to lack of money, simply thank yourself for noticing and focus on something you are grateful for instead.
3. Begin Mindset training
This is not as tricky as it sounds!
All you have to do is become aware of your language as above, and practice gratitude.
Whenever you start to feel anxious about money or the state of your credit cards, stop, breathe and think of what you are grateful for. You may have to go back to absolute basics like “I am grateful for having as roof over my head, or having all my arms and legs, or for the feel of the sun on my face”
This starts conditioning our mind to be focused on feeling good which will in turn cause the laws of the universe to start giving you what you are focused on. If you feel good about basics, the laws of the universe will give you more things to feel good about, including wealth!
4. Visualise your perfect day/job/life – visualise the feeling of receiving unexpected money.
Spend time, even if it’s just right before you fall asleep imagining that pure joy feeling when you get unexpected money from a happy source.
Spending time in that feeling will help the laws of the universe to give you more of it.
It’s also worth writing down, in detail, your perfect day or job. Use pictures or a vision board as well. This is an extremely powerful and fun way to keep yourself in the high vibration of abundance over lack of.
I never thought much of doing this until I actually did it, and everything I wrote and stuck pictures of happened to me! It wasn’t the obvious stuff like sticking a picture of a Mercedes in my book (although this is still fun!) I stuck pictures of serenity, yoga poses with words like “breathe”, pictures that expressed a happy flowing easy life, and that is exactly what I have now!
5. Watch your body subtle signs
Become aware of your body when you spend money or talk about money.
Notice how your heart feels when you make a transaction?
Does it skip a beat?
Or only on larger sums of money?
Or is it only when someone GIVES you money?
Pay attention to those slight feelings that just aren’t quite right as these are emotions that are linked to money that need to be released before you can move forward.
For Example: I focussed on my awareness and realised that when I spent money over a certain amount, say $50, I got a slight feeling of “I shouldn’t be spending this!” It was a mixture of fear, worry and shame. I could link all of mine back to my childhood.
Once I cleared out all these childhood emotions I started to notice the changes happening in my life.
Once you can pinpoint these feelings, however tiny they seem, you can release them, so that you can feel completely good about money, spending it, talking about it and receiving it.
6. Use TAPPING to help you identify your blocks.
Once you’ve identified some limiting beliefs and fears around money they need shifting. Tapping is the quickest most efficient method of doing this that I know of.

I began my energetic financial journey by doing all of the above. For free. I didn’t spend a penny.

Once we get our sub conscious and conscious mind all on the same page wonderful things start to happen!
